Tabletop Exhibit Displays, Image and ROI

You want to get leads, so you’re looking for the best display to help attract them. But you also have to keep your budget in mind. ROI is just a fact of life when it comes to trade shows as marketing events. You’re investing so much in your booth, display and staffing, and you are looking for concurrent sales down the line. So what should you look for in tabletop exhibit displays or freestanding displays?

We’ve been providing quality custom displays to big ad agencies and small businesses alike for more than two decades, and from where we stand it looks as though effective tabletop exhibit displays can help change how people think about your products or your company. They are designed to showcase your brand’s relevancy. They are customized in such a way that what is most unique about your brand will be easy to “get” with just a quick glance at your display.

Is this true for you? Is this what you’re looking for in display panels and materials? If not, you might reconsider.

Image, after all, can have a big impact on your ROI. Image goes beyond brand management, where you focus on identity colors, images, logo, etc. And image is more than aesthetics. Yes, you can purchase an impressive tabletop exhibit right here (see details or contact us for more info) and stock up on glossy brochures. But once you have that good looking tabletop exhibit, fun giveaways, a good location and the ideal takeaways, you’ll want to get it right with image.

These elements can help create the right image to get more leads from your next tradeshow:

  • People: The right people in place at your tradeshow will be attentive and professional, well-groomed and engaging. They will have exhaustive knowledge of the products or services you sell. They will be exemplary brand advocates.
  • Personality: Think about how your target market wants to perceive itself. Then build brand personality into your display and sales approach that helps potential buyers make the connection. You want them to identify with the personality that your staffers and display project. If you sell skateboards, for example, and your brand personality is quirky and youth oriented, you’ll want to make sure that your display, staffers’ attire and other exhibit elements reflect this.
  • Promises: Look for opportunities to make and deliver on promises. If you are perceived as a company or product that delivers, you’re ahead of the game. If you can, promise something before the show and deliver it to attendees. Or promise something at the show—for example, if you’re selling tools and promising years of durable performance with them—deliver on that promise with a demonstration that may attract your target market and give your staff the opportunity to make potentially profitable, possibly long-term connections.
  • Perception: Finally, image is about perception. This is where having new, or at least well maintained, display items is critical. You don’t want faded display boards or soiled table coverings. This extends to product displays too. If you can, take advantage and leverage the power of perception: Hold a demonstration that makes it clear that your product is superior or more advanced than that of a competitor. Or display simple, clear, provable data that demonstrates your superiority.
